I've found, that when you are down being drunk makes things seem better, at least for a little while. It's not a solution, really and not something I'd advise you use all the time, but occasionally it is a nice diversion. I had a lovely bottle of French red wine from the Rhone region and supplemented it with a few beers. Suddenly things seemed better.
I also watched No Reservations, the Catherine Zeta-Jones movie. It wasn't bad, but nothing really special. Maybe a +1 chainmail rating. I'm now watching Planet Terror and it has just the right amount of horror/humor/badassedness for the moment. Oh and Rose McGowan is smokin' hot. Even with one leg.
