I watched Fantastic Four last night. I knew it wasn't going to be good, but bleh. They did do a good job with the Thing. Michael Chiklis was good and seemed to nail the character. It was the rest of the movie that sucked so hard it created a black hole. I mean bad dialogue, hackneyed Hollywood action that had little to do with anything. Horrible.
On top of all that they made one of my favorite villians of all time suck. Dr. Doom was absotively abyssmal. No excuse for making him so lame and, for some reason, making him in on the same accident that turned the Four fantastic. It was all mudbutt to me. Just a prime example of what happens when you let people with no knowledge of the source material have final say over a movie.
